• Thermoplastic construction: the lightweight outer shell is made from technologically advanced, impact-resistant thermoplastic, available in three sizes (Youth Small, Youth Medium, and Youth Large) to optimize fit and weight; the SM3 Youth weighs 1060 g (ECE) and 1170 g (DOT).
• Specific DOT/ECE versions: the shells feature separate versions to meet DOT and ECE requirements; in the DOT-certified version, the inner shell incorporates a composite fiber assembled between the outer shell and EPS liner to maximize impact protection.
• Customizable fit: the crown pads and cheek pads, available as replacement parts in different thicknesses, allow the helmet to be precisely tailored to the rider's head for improved comfort and support.
• YM/YL growth system: the Youth Medium (YM) and Youth Large (YL) sizes share the same EPS size, allowing the helmet to start as YM and be configured to Youth Large as the rider grows, using crown pads and replacement cheek pads.
